ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
We require artwork files to be submitted in one of the following formats: PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, JPEG, etc. Please ensure your artwork has a resolution of at least 300 DPI for the best quality output.
We recommend adding a 2-inch bleed area around your design. This ensures that text and images are not affected by the various finishing options available for each product.
PRINT READY FILES & APPROVALS
Once we receive your artwork, we will convert it into print-ready files.
Please note that we do not print in Pantone colors. All files are converted to CMYK before printing, which may cause slight color differences. After conversion, we will email you the print-ready files for your approval.
There may be a 10-15% shade difference between screen resolutions and the print output due to variations in color profiles and printer settings. This difference is normal and will be considered acceptable print quality.
Be sure to carefully review the print-ready files, paying attention to colors, spellings, and layouts. You must reply to the email with your approval for us to proceed with printing. If approval is not given, your order will not be processed.
Please note that print-ready file approvals received after 12 PM will be considered as approval for the following business day. Kindly confirm delivery dates with us before placing your order.
PRODUCT QUALITY EXPECTATIONS
We use large format printers for all our products. These prints are designed to be viewed from a distance of at least two meters.
If you are expecting a very sharp, high-definition print, similar to photographic quality, we may not be able to meet that specification as our prints are optimized for visibility from a greater distance.
Samples of our printed products can be found on our website under the “Our Work” section. If you are unsure about how your product will look, we recommend reviewing the samples before proceeding with your order.
All finishing services are provided free of charge. However, please note that we do not offer warranties on the wear and tear of these finishes.
We take great care to ensure that all products are printed to the exact size ordered, but please expect a possible variance of 3-4 cm in the final product.
For banners under 10ft in height, we will aim to print them in a single piece, up to a maximum of 164ft in length. For banners larger than 10ft in either height or width, we may need to add seamless joints using super glue. These joints will be carefully aligned with your design. Any prints with joints will still be considered as perfect prints.
Banners that are hemmed and smaller than 3ft x 5ft will not be hemmed. Both dimensions must be over 3ft x 5ft to be eligible for hemming.
DELIVERIES & PACKAGING
The following timescales apply once you have approved the print-ready files:
- Orders are printed and dispatched within 3 working days. We cannot accept responsibility for delays in receiving products if you have left it too late before your event date. Please ensure you order well in advance of your event.
- Delivery times are counted from the point we receive your approval for print-ready files, not from payment receipt.
- Products larger than 110 cm x 110 cm will be folded for delivery, which may cause creases and possible discoloration in folded areas. This will still be considered a perfect printed and delivered product.
- For products that cannot be folded due to their rigid nature, special courier services will be used.
- If you require your order to be sent rolled instead of folded, please notify us prior to placing your order, and we will provide you with the cost for this special delivery option.
EXPRESS SERVICE / URGENT DELIVERIES
If you need your order urgently, we offer an express service with delivery time of 24 hours. Express service charges vary depending on the order value. Simply proceed with your items to checkout and choose the express service; the charge will be visible at checkout. Please note that express orders finalized after 1 PM will incur an additional charge of 50% for next-day delivery if still possible.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
- If you are not satisfied with your order, contact us immediately via email with clear, high-quality images taken from a distance of at least 2 meters. Complaints will only be considered within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
- Returns are accepted only if the print quality is poor or the size is incorrect. If the goods or packaging appear damaged upon delivery, please refuse the delivery.
- Once goods are accepted, it confirms that you are happy with the condition of the order.
- If the order is delayed due to our fault, please contact us immediately for a refund. We do not offer refunds for delays caused by couriers. Proof of timely dispatch will be provided.
- If you no longer require the goods due to a delay and have already requested a refund, do not accept delivery. Accepting the goods means you forfeit the right to a refund.
- If a return is necessary for further inspection or replacement, you will need to cover the cost of returning the goods to us.
- If you wish to cancel your order before printing begins, you will receive a full refund. Once printing has commenced, no refund can be issued.
FRAUD & DECEPTION
We have measures in place to track all orders and prevent fraudulent returns. All banners we print are photographed, and parcels are weighed with quantities listed in the courier manifest. Any fraudulent claims will be handled through legal proceedings, and all costs will be recovered from the customer.
COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
We retain the right to use images of products we have designed or printed, including those approved by the customer, for marketing purposes across various online platforms, including our website. All design work and intellectual property rights are owned by Printing Banners UK, regardless of whether images or text were provided by the customer.
If any transaction is refunded for any reason, a design charge of 50% of the invoice amount will apply before processing the refund.
OTHER TERMS
- Our liability for any order is limited to the order value.
- Any claims made via PayPal or Merchant Services will be final and cannot be challenged elsewhere.
